Foolishness and cleverness
Foolishness
In the past, I used to be surprised by foolish people, and I mentioned in one of my books that foolish young man who thought His friends said that he did not understand him due to his long silence, so they spoke in riddles in front of him while they did not know that he knew them and understood their origin, so the meaning was distorted, and some people began to say about this fool, “Are you being foolish?” when he did something strange and out of the ordinary. This foolishness begins at a young age, and if you have children, you will see this in them, especially when the child does something that he knows has committed a crime and will be reprimanded for it. When his father says to him: Who broke this and who broke that? The child's mouth will tilt to the right and his lips will extend forward, as if he pronounces the letter waw and says (aww) and he will say (I don't know). Then among them are those who make it a lie, and among them are those who make it a weapon. As for the first, we have nothing to do with it, as we abhor liars and do not support their actions. As for the second, he is the one who uses it for benefit, such as someone who overlooks many matters and fools with his wife so as not to ruin his life with her. The nature of a woman is close to the nature of a crying child, had it not been for him. This is what the bottles are called, as they are like delicate vessels. If they fall, they shatter, and if they are touched violently, they scratch.
Complaint (of intelligence)
One day, someone complained to me about the things he sees in this time that turn heads gray, so I told him, “Don’t be silent about it.” Do not stop doing good and giving advice, unless you pay attention carefully and you will get tired. Indeed, if a man came to his house and said to his wife, “What is this?” Why is this woman here and why is this woman there? Then he asks her about the arrangement of the place and the supplies in the house, and if she tells him that the sugar or flour has run out, he accuses her of stealing and that she is sending supplies to her family. This clever man did not know that his stomach had digested two-thirds of the food supply. He lives his life by scrutinizing all matters. Sometimes he accuses, sometimes he offends, and so on. He does not feel comfortable, nor does he comfort those around him. Such is the life of smart people, all misery and torment.
